I had never used the Mail Merge feature until recently. Previously, I had been manually entering parent names and addresses onto correspondence. Mail Merge is a much simpler method of accomplishing the same task.
Exel is the program I have been utilizing to maintain an address listing. Do you have any suggestions about more efficient ways to use this feature?

I have not yet used Mail Merge. This sounds very interesting and would be a great way to save time. I will be emailing you to see how this works. Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteAs a principal, the numerous letters that are sent out to parents on a regular basis become so impersonal. I love this idea to make the letters more personal to families. I beleive that parents and guardians tend to read information for carefully when it is addressed to them by name.
ReplyDeleteI have used a much older but similar version of this, but was less efficient and more time consuming. This new program sounds great!
